Welcome to Central Taxis, Edinburgh's largest co-operative black taxi company! We were founded in 1968 by 33 like minded Edinburgh cabbies. Over the past 40 years, we have grown from strength to strength and now have a fleet of over 400 hackney cabs. We are experts in delivering a superior service to our customers and are proud to announce our status as Scotland’s first CarbonNeutral® black taxi company.
